Wellness retreats have become a popular way for people to step away from daily stress and responsibilities to focus on their health and well-being. This August, Cooper Hill Inn will host its very first Wellness Retreat, offering guests a unique opportunity to reset and recharge in a peaceful setting. Activities That Nourish Body and Mind

The retreat program includes a variety of activities that cater to different interests and areas of our lives. Each day begins with gentle stretching in yoga sessions led by instructor Jenna Bagnall. These sessions will help participants wake up their bodies and prepare for the day ahead.

In addition to yoga, there are guided sessions focused on energy healing and mindful, intuitive eating. These will include information and practices that all guests might easily incorporate into their daily routines.

Alissa Rumssey is a registered dietician and eating counselor and will lead a nutrition workshop, sharing insights on healthy and mindful eating habits, emphasizing natural foods and balance. We hope this workshop encourages participants to think about food and what we put in our bodies as an integral part of our well-being.

Be sure to participate in some outdoor activities to take full advantage of the Inn’s beautiful surroundings. Nature walks are encouraged so our guests can connect with the beautiful landscape and enjoy our fresh mountain air. Nearby trails offer peaceful, low-stress hikes and a chance to reflect and unwind away from screens and the noise of modern day living. We can also offer kayaks to our guests for a more challenging, yet serene outing at the local reservoir.
