November is the Perfect Month for Giving

As the last golden leaves drift down and the air turns crisp, East Dover and its neighboring towns are rallying behind good causes and fundraising for critical services in our local communities heading into the winter months. Whether you're from the area or are just passing through, you can leave a lasting impact on the lives of the folks that live and work here through your generosity. Here are 3 events hosted by local organizations that you can help support when you join us this month at Cooper Hill Inn:

Dates & Times: Friday, November 7, 2025 from 6:00pm to 8:30pm

Price (ticketed): $60, buy tickets or donate here https://tinyurl.com/partyforDVR

What to Expect: Join us as we rally together to help Deerfield Valley Rescue raise funds to purchase a new ambulance. Valley Craft Ales presents The Peter Miles Band for an evening of music, dancing, sweet desserts, and a few SUPER surprises. Don't miss this night of FUN (and fundraising!) for a critical cause in the Valley. Can't attend? Please consider donating any amount by scanning the QR code in the flyer above.

Dates & Times: Tues & Weds, November 25-26, 2025 from 2:00pm to 6:00pm

Apple pies can be ordered as fresh baked or frozen. Orders must be placed in advance and may be picked up on the dates and times above. To order, call Charlotte Pavia or Cathy Oates. Contact numbers are in the flyer above. The West Dover Congregational Church is a progressive, Open and Affirming church that welcomes people of all backgrounds.
